I'm not sure if it was a review of one of my books or something else I read, but someone said something along the lines of 'all the guys can't be that good looking, that hot, that popular, that good at everything'. And I suppose that's true. But really what are we talking about here? If you are a girl and you are going to be tempted to let go of your promise yourself to stay away from boys at all costs (For whatever fictitious reason the author has given the character to avoid relationships), the dude better be gorgeous, right? Or, at least, gorgeous to the girl.
Ahhh, and there you have it folks. It's not so much that this guy actually is the best looking guy in the school or at the office or even on the professional football team. It's the fact that SHE thinks he is. He is the best TO HER.
So, the next time you get annoyed because all the alpha males in the romance novels you're reading are just so dang hot (insert eye roll, puh-lease!) remember, each heroine is different and is attracted to the perfect guy for her!
